Confession of Faith: Melanie Haak will make public confession of her faith in Jesus Christ during our evening service. We thank the Lord for His grace that works the wonder of personal faith in the living Savior. Our prayer is that your life display love and obedience to the Lord, "under whose wings thou art come to trust." Ruth 2:12

Council: Thanks be to God for the giving in October:

High School $332.50 PRYP Scholarship Fund $255.32 The Standard Bearer $292.58

Consistory: The elders will meet this Thursday at 7:00 pm the Lord willing.

General Fund Giving: The Council would like to again bring to the attention of the congregation the deficit in General Fund giving that we have experienced for many months this year. Even with several notices, there has been no noticeable improvement in our collections to make up for our shortfall. With only two months before the year end, the deficit in our General Fund giving still approximates $12,000. With your prayerful consideration, we ask those who are behind to bring their budget commitments up to date as much as possible, and also to request those who are able to add to their giving to the General Fund this year to help reduce the deficit. Remember the instruction of the Lord to us as we cheerfully and generously give to the needs of His Church (II Corinthians 9:6-7).

Annual Congregational Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 7:30 pm. The proposed budget for 2006 will soon be available for your consideration. The Council presents to the congregation the following office bearer nominations: For Elder - Bob DeYoung, Jon Huisken, Bruce Jabaay, Todd Miedema, Douglas Start, Don Windemuller. For Deacon - Jeff Berens, Tim Decker, Doug Holstege, Rod Korhorn, Dave Schimmel, Harvey Verbeek. Objections to any of the nominees must be presented in writing to the Clerk of the Council. A lawful objection is one which alleges that the election of any one of these nominees violates principles of the Church Order or of God's Word (I Timothy 3).
