Jessica Bosman appeared before the Consistory to make Confession of Faith. She gave a good testimony of her understanding of the fundamentals of the doctrine and of her commitment to the Reformed Faith. With thankfulness to God the Consistory approved her confession. Her public confession is scheduled for the evening of June 28. If anyone has a lawful objection it should be brought to the attention of the clerk or vice-president of the Consistory.

In preparation for his upcoming installation as a missionary in the Philippines, the membership papers of Rev. Daniel Kleyn and his wife Sharon were transferred to Doon PRC. The Consistory expresses our thankfulness for the many blessings of the years they were among us. We pray that the Lord will sustain them in the preparations and special work to which they have been called.

At the congregational meeting held last week Sunday morning, we voted to extend a call to Rev. G. Eriks.  We pray for Rev. Eriks as he considers our call as well as his call to Hudsonville PRC. May the Lord guide him and give him wisdom to make a decision according to God’s will.

All material for the Summer TULIP must be turned in to Lori Ellerbroek or Heather Bartelds today. Reminder to 9th grade, high school, and college graduates to also return their completed forms today.

The annual Church Picnic is being planned for Thursday, June 18.  Supper will be provided at 6 p.m. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board.

We remember in prayer Mr. Marvin Haveman who has been getting steadily weaker this past week. May the Lord give grace, peace, and contentment to him, his wife, and his family, at this time.

Thank You: Thanks for showing us support in your presence at the Open House, and for the cards and wishes.  We thank and praise God for these 50 years He has given us.      Bill & Fran Leep
