Announcements

     The congregation extends a warm welcome to any visitors in our midst.  We are pleased to have Rev. N. Langerak fill our pulpit this evening.  We thank God that we are able to worship Him today and pray that He will be pleased with the praises we bring Him.

 

     Mrs. Garret Flikkema and family express our sincere appreciation to the congregation for your love and care in the loss of our husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  Your thoughts, prayers, words of comfort and encouragement, cards, and food are cherished by us in our time of sorrow.  We especially thank Rev. Spronk and the office bearers for your visits and words of comfort.  “But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious,  longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.”  Psalm 86:15.

 

     The Diaconate will meet, the Lord willing, this Wednesday evening at 7:30.

 

     There will be no catechism classes held this week.

 

     Attention Young People:  A bus has been arranged to pick up young people for the convention in the parking lot of our church.  The bus will be traveling from here directly to the camp in Otisville, MI.  Those who are taking the bus should plan on registering at the camp.  Inform Rev. Spronk TODAY if you plan to ride the bus.

 

     To request a CD or cassette copy of a sermon, please fill out the “Sermon Request” form which is located on the back bulletin board.  Remember to pick up your copy from the bookshelf.

 

     The Reformed Witness Hour is broadcast every Sunday at 8:00 AM on WYLL, 1160 AM.  This morning the message “Fighting Under the Banner of Our Ascended King” was heard.  Listen next week to “The Daughter of Sarah,” based on I Peter 3:3-4.
