On Sunday, July 14, 2013 Randolph (WI) PRC's Council announced a new trio from which to call a pastor: Revs.H.Bleyenberg (Providence, MI), W.Bruinsma (Pittsburgh Mission), and Candidate E.Guichelaar. The congregation plans to call next Sunday, July 21.

The July 2013 Newsletter of Covenant PRC, our sister church in N.Ireland, has been published! Read about a recent wedding there, plans for the 2013 BRF conference, a presentation on Rev.Titus and the PRC of Myanmar, some new members who recently joined, and the Stewarts' trip to the U.S. About the last mentioned you may read this:

Our trip to the US is drawing very near (16 July–13 August), and I would imagine we will be there before many of you read this. I am to preach in Calvary and Heritage (21 July), Lynden (28 July), Randolph (4 August), and Grandville and Faith (11 August), plus give three PowerPoint presentations on the CPRC from the perspective of its sister church relationship with the PRC and attend the weddings of a niece and a nephew. We are looking forward to being in your midst again.

On July 7, 2013 Rev.R.Kleyn (Covenant of Grace PRC, Spokane, WA) announced that he had declined the call from Randolph, WI PRC. He had received this call on June 10, 2013.

The radio speaker on the Reformed Witness Hour for July 2013 is Rev.Carl Haak, who will be continuing a series on marriage based on Ephesians 5. See the attached flyer for a list of the July messages.

On Sunday, June 30, 2013, Rev.Clayton Spronk announced that he was led to decline the call extended to him from the Faith PRC of Jenison, MI. Rev.Spronk is currently pastor of the Peace PRC of Lansing, IL and begins serving on July 1 (through Dec.31, 2013) as mentor for the Seminary internship of Joshua Engelsma.

From the Council's new trio of Revs. C. Haak (Georgetown, Hudsonville, MI), R. Kleyn (Covenant of Grace, Spokane, WA), and W. Langerak (SE, Grand Rapids, MI) Doon PRC congregation voted to extend a call to Rev.C.Haak on Sunday, June 23.

In connection with Synod's expression of thanks to Mr.Don Doezema for his many years (over 25!) of service to the PRC Seminary (registrar, etc.) and churches (Stated Clerk of Synod, etc.) during their Thursday session (June 13), the Theological School Committee thanked Mr.Doezema publicly at the Seminary graduation program Thursday evening and presented him with a gift of a new camera. Quite surprised by the attention, Mr.Doezema did make it to the podium to express gratitude for the privilege of serving the Seminary community and the churches for so many years.
